Educating Legislators
NCLCV publishes a weekly e-newsletter, the Hotlist, for our Legislators during each Legislative Session. The Hotlist keeps our decision-makers up to date on current legislation that is important for protecting North Carolina’s natural resources, the health of our communities, and our economy. It highlights issues that are a priority for people and organizations who care about the environment, including the NC Common Agenda Priorities, with impartial data and information to help inform legislators. It also provides a quick summary of what the pro-environmental vote on bills throughout the Session. The Hotlist lets our decision-makers know what votes might be scored on the Legislative Scorecard.
