This year’s keynote speaker will be long-time activist Bakari Sellers. Bakari made history in the 2006 South Carolina state legislature as the youngest African American elected official in the nation, at the age of 22. He was named TIME Magazine’s 40 Under 40 and “The Root 100” list of the nation’s most influential African-Americans in 2014 and 2025, and HBCU Top 30 Under 30 in July 2014. Join us in person at the Merrimon-Wynne House to hear from him.
All sponsors will be recognized on our website beforehand, on-screen during the event, and in our Conservation Insider Bulletin afterwards. Sponsors at the $2,500 level and above will be recognized by the emcee during the event as well.
If you are buying multiple tickets or a sponsorship, please email lari@nclcv.org with the names of the folks for whom your buying tickets and/or how you would like your organization to be listed.
