Speaking of U.S. Senators, we’re leading a nationwide push to generate support for major legislation promoting a clean energy future, the Senate Clean Economy Act of 2020.

This bill would transition the United States to a 100% clean energy economy by 2050. In North Carolina, the bill would cut pollution and create jobs by boosting the state’s already booming solar industry.

Right now, our senators Thom Tillis and Richard Burr have not signed on to co-sponsor the bill. But they need to know you want them to keep you safe from dirty fossil fuels and the health, economic, and national security impacts of the climate crisis.
