Conservation Events: Duke Gas Plant Stakeholder Meeting

Conservation advocates in the Research Triangle region have expressed concern regarding the proposed Duke Energy/Duke University natural gas-fired power plant. The proposal is currently on hold pending review by the university’s Campus Sustainability Committee.

The Committee has scheduled a community stakeholder meeting to receive input prior to its release of a recommendation. The meeting is open to the public and is being conducted tonight (Monday, March 27) at the following time and place:
