There Is Still Time To Support Governor Cooper’s Veto

Conservation advocates can still tell state legislators to support Governor Cooper’s veto of a bill which would lock in low standards of energy efficiency and vulnerability to storms for the rest of this decade. Final votes on whether to override Governor Cooper’s veto of House Bill 488 are now expected the week of August 14.

Contact your legislators now, and tell them to vote “no” on overriding Governor Cooper’s veto!
