Urge the EPA to Preserve the Legal Foundation of U.S. Climate Protections
As part of the Trump administration’s sweeping deregulation push, the EPA has moved to repeal the 2009 Endangerment Finding – a critical legal determination that greenhouse gases endanger public health and welfare under the Clean Air Act. This rollback would strip the EPA of its authority to regulate carbon emissions from cars, power plants, and other industrial sources.
Without this foundational finding, key climate protections are at risk of collapse.
If finalized, this proposal will weaken long-standing climate safeguards, undermine public health, and jeopardize progress in reducing pollution, especially in marginalized communities.
Take Action! Tell the EPA to Keep the Endangerment Finding
