“Eggs and Electricity Bills”: What (or Who) Is Raising Our Electric Rates?

Eggs and Electricity Bills: Eggs, bread, milk, and electricity bills are going up. But not for the same reason. Inflation, war, and supply chains are things out of your control driving up grocery prices, but your electric bill is not the same. In North Carolina, there are seven people on a state utility board who are deciding whether to raise your rates very soon–but there is much that you can do to impact that decision.
