Conservation Events: Green Tie Is This Wednesday
NCLCV’s Green Tie Awards event will be held this Wednesday, May 10 in Raleigh. Gov. Roy Cooper will be this year’s keynote speaker.
This year’s award winners are

- Senator of the Year: Mike Woodard
- Representative of the Year: Pricey Harrison
- Rising Stars: Senators Erica Smith-Ingram and Jay Chaudhuri
- Community Catalysts: Mark Pearsall and Carol Davis
