We Continue our Work of Defending our Democracy and Environment at the 2025 Green Tie Awards
The NC League of Conservation Voters (NCLCV) this week will continue to fight for our democracy and environment in North Carolina as we host the annual Green Tie Awards on Wednesday, May 21, in Raleigh.
Several of our current environmental champions in the NC General Assembly will be among those honored with special recognitions at the 2025 Green Tie Awards event. Among them will be the following:
Don’t Miss North Carolina’s Biggest Night for the Environment
Remember that in the 2026 election cycle we will be working to expand our number of environmental champions in the NC General Assembly, as well as protect another key seat on the NC Supreme Court. Voter education and mobilization efforts will also help to inform the electorate who will be choosing the person North Carolina sends to a key U.S. Senate seat as well.
