The League of Conservation Voters’ (LCV) Change the Climate 2020 program has released an in-depth update on how the climate crisis is being addressed in the 2020 presidential primary so far.
The report reviews candidates’ announced climate action plans, as well as the attention given to the climate crisis in debates, speeches, and social media thus far. LCV’s key takeaway at this point: “While we are encouraged that so many presidential candidates have already released comprehensive climate plans and are discussing this critical issue at campaign events and on social media, it’s time for the 2020 presidential candidates to take the next step to prove that climate action is one of their very top priorities.”
