Education & Resources: Town Hall on Risks of ‘Regulatory Reform’

What does the much-repeated mantra of “regulatory reform” actually mean for the public health and environment of the people of North Carolina?

Meredith College will host a town hall forum this week on the topic of “NC’s Environment and the Risks of Regulatory Reform.” The program will feature NC Representative Cynthia Ball, Meredith political science Professor David McLennan, and representatives from the Sierra Club, NC Manufacturers Alliance, and NC Division of Water Resources.

The event will take place on Thursday, October 26, in the Jones Auditorium of Meredith College, 3800 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh. Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the panel discussion from 7 to 8:30. The public is invited.
