Governor-elect Josh Stein has announced the members of his transition team who will assist in screening candidates for his administration’s appointees. The early word looks good for the environment.
Stein’s transition team includes environmental champion former State Senator and former national Sierra Club president Chuck McGrady.
While other members of the environmental appointees review committee have not yet been publicly announced, they are expected to include citizen environmental advocates and pro-environment business leaders. This is a very welcome and badly needed contrast to the transition between presidential administrations now underway in Washington.
