Conservation Events: Peoples Climate Marches
NCLCV is helping to promote the “Peoples Climate March” events this coming Saturday, April 29, in Washington DC as well as other cities around the country. NCLCV’s Katie Todd says, “Climate change is real and having a direct impact on North Carolina. We have a President who has filled his Cabinet with Dirty Energy executives who care more about profits than people. The next generation is counting on us to act.”
NCLCV is co-sponsoring the march that day in Charlotte. Other North Carolina events that day will take place in Greensboro and Asheville.
