Education & Resources: Cape Fear River Forums

Want to learn more about water issues affecting the largest river basin in North Carolina—and share your own experiences and concerns? You’ll have the chance at three forums organized by the citizen group Cape Fear River Assembly, September 26-28 in Elon, Fayetteville, and Wilmington.

Tom Hoban, executive director of CFRA, said that the forums are designed to share and discuss information “about the river, why it’s vital to our lives and vital to our economies, and appreciate how some decisions individuals make can affect the river.” The forums are free and open to the public.
