Conservationists: New NCLCV Leaders Step Up

Mac Montgomery and Elizabeth Redenbaugh have been elected the new president and vice president of the North Carolina League of Conservation Voters (NCLCV).

Both newly installed NCLCV leaders have experience serving in elected public office. Montgomery is the former mayor of Kure Beach. Redenbaugh served on the New Hanover County Board of Education prior to her NCLCV Conservation PAC-endorsed campaign for state Senate District 9 in 2014.

“Mac and Elizabeth have been vital members of our board for years, and leaders in their communities for a long time before that,” said Carrie Clark, NCLCV Executive Director. “We look forward to their strong leadership and continued guidance of our efforts to elect environmental champions and to hold our public servants accountable for making better environmental policies.”

NCLCV’s full board membership is here.
